Martin Herrmann manages whole-business restructuring and strategy projects at BGP, frequently in the role of the interim manager. His tasks in the past three years have included a deployment as interim general manager/crisis manager at a media company, a turnaround brief with full management authority at an electronics company and postings as manager of equity capital and holding management for international affiliates for a specialist engineering group (with foreign subsidiaries in the USA, UK, and China) and finance and accounting manager at a biotechnology company.
Before joining BGP Mr. Herrmann has worked as general manager of a system supplier of automation solutions, general manager at an equity investment company, where in addition to his investment activities he was also responsible for setting up a private-enterprise technology center, and assistant to the managing director of a world market leading restaurant chain.
Mr. Herrmann is an industrial engineer with experience in modernizing finance and accounting departments, introducing management information / controlling systems, implementing merchandise management systems and software solutions in the commercial field as well as reorganizing business processes and undertaking due diligence. He is conversant with US GAAP, IAS and IFRS.
